Intro

The steps involved in manufacturing a moulded part

01

Day tanks

The liquid raw materials polyol and isocyanate are stored in large raw material tanks or IBC containers. From there, the raw materials are transported via a piping system to the premixing stations and then to the day tanks.

02

Mixing machines

The raw materials are transported from the day tanks to the respective mixing head via mixing machines, which ensures precise metering of both components.

03

Mixing heads

The two components are mixed under high pressure in the respective mixing head and then injected into the closed mould via an injection system.

04

Mould carrier

The respective moulds are clamped on the around 20 different mould carriers. The opening and closing of these moulds, as well as any hydraulic valves, takes place via a control system.

Aluminium moulds

If necessary, inserts are added to the opened moulds before the mould is closed and the foaming process is initiated. Once the material has fully reacted, the mould is opened and the moulded part can be removed. If the tools are not in production, they are safely stored in our separate mould warehouse.

Reworking

The blanks are deburred during reworking. In the case of any painting, the parts are prepared in accordance with the agreed requirements. Special reworking or variants are carried out on CNC machining centres.

07

Painting

The parts are painted according to customer requirements in different paint booths. Structured coatings, smooth or high-gloss coatings, but also special coatings such as conductive or soft-touch coatings can be used. Our range of services also includes printing (screen printing or pad printing) in collaboration with proven specialists.

Assembly

Various assembly work for delivered or directly procured components can also be carried out on request. If required, we take over the entire supply chain management (SCM) from the production of blanks through all processes involved in the individual production of moulded parts and complex assemblies.

Inspection, packaging and shipping

After the final inspections, the finished parts or assemblies are labelled and professionally packed. Depending on the requirements, special packaging or reusable containers can also be used. Our generous storage capacities enable flexible inventory management. Deliveries are carried out on time with external transport service providers.
