Integral polyurethane rigid foam combines a compact outer layer with a microporous core to create a sandwich-like material with processing properties similar to wood. Thanks to good flow properties and low internal tool pressure, even complex moulded part geometries can be optimally achieved.
The advantages of this material can be seen particularly on medium-sized and large moulded parts. Other advantages are the flexible wall thickness, the possibility of casting metal threaded bushings or other reinforcements, as well as good electrical, thermal and sound insulation.
Integral PUR rigid foam also has very good resistance to a large number of organic and inorganic chemicals. As it can be painted without any problems, almost limitless customer-specific colour schemes can be taken into account.
