Intro
Great design freedom for engineers and designers: PUR integral rigid foam combines optimum rigidity with minimal weight.
Polyurethane integral rigid foam combines a compact outer layer with a microporous core to form a sandwich-like material with wood-like processing properties. Thanks to its good flow properties and low internal mold pressure, even complex molded part geometries can be optimally realized.
The advantages of this material are particularly evident in medium and large molded parts. Further advantages include flexible wall thickness design, the possibility of casting in metal threaded bushings or other reinforcements, and good electrical, thermal, and sound insulation values.
PUR integral rigid foam also has very good resistance to a large number of organic and inorganic chemicals. Thanks to its easy paintability, almost unlimited customer-specific color schemes can be taken into account.
